ROEL TRANS SERV SRL is the controller of personal data submitted through this website. Its identity and registered office are listed below. For privacy requests, write to office@roeltrans.ro or to the registered office.

Data and purpose

The contact/quote form collects name, email, optional phone and company, and message. Name, email and message are required to respond; without them the form cannot send an enquiry. Please do not send sensitive personal data. We use these details to answer enquiries, prepare requested quotations and communicate about transport requirements. Hosting and email services may also process technical connection data, such as IP addresses, timestamps and delivery logs, to operate and secure the service.

Legal basis

For steps you request before entering a contract, processing is based on GDPR Article 6(1)(b). For business representatives, general correspondence and security, it is based on Article 6(1)(f): our legitimate interests in answering business enquiries, managing correspondence and protecting the service. The checkbox acknowledges this notice; it is not consent to marketing.

Retention

Enquiry data is retained for 1 year from the last contact, then deleted, unless longer retention is needed for a contract or a legal obligation.

Recipients and transfers

Data is available to authorised personnel and service providers needed to operate the website and deliver email. Hosting: Vercel Inc., USA. Form emails are sent via SMTP using Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA), acting as a processor. Primary email processing takes place in the United States. Resend is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; transfers rely on that framework and, where applicable, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Decision 2021/914), as set out in its DPA. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP, at www.dataprotection.ro, or with your competent supervisory authority. The contact form does not make automated decisions or perform profiling.
